Loving Jesus is everything and His heart is our priority


  1. The Godhead: There is one eternal God the Father, The Son Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

  2. The Bible: The bible is the eternal, true and perfect word of God.

  3. The Gospel: There is one Saviour of the world, Jesus, whose sacrifice on the cross and resurrection from the dead, saves us from sin and eternal separation from God. The gospel is a proclamation of God’s faithfulness and undying love which consumes our daily lives and informs our character and choices as his bride.

  4. The Mission: To carry the good news of the Saviour to the world, teaching others to obey and follow Jesus and to help them succeed in their identity in Christ and live out their purpose in serving Him.

  5. The Christian Heart: We reflect his love in actions, words and thoughts and motives towards others as testament of the love of our Saviour. His perfect holiness, humility and love forms the basis of our service as we live repentant lives, in service and honour towards Jesus and each other.

  6. Response to The Lost and Broken: We engage the world and the lost with a deep love and compassion. We approach our service to them knowing Jesus’ himself gave his own life for the lost to have knowledge of his saving grace. We serve with excitement for them to experience the love of Jesus. We pray, serve, give, and encourage so that Jesus may shine through us.

  7. Social Responsibility: We are called to participate in society so that His love and truth can transform the lives of others and the nation in which we live.

Beliefs

  1. Truth: The truth of the gospel of Jesus is essential to personal and communal transformation and activities we engage in. The Bible is the perfect word of God, which we rely on to cultivate identity, ethics, relationships, values, service and community.

  2. Love: God’s love for humanity and our love for Him is the reason for anything we do. We overcome hurt and division with love and by the Spirit of God. Love heals and blesses. Love is not quiet or passive in loving God and others but is active, present, sacrificial and obedient.

  3. Repentance: We are repentant for the ways we have not loved and served Jesus and each other with all that we have. We remove impure motives, ungratefulness, complaints, gossip and other spiritual ailments so we can love God, love others well.

  4. Faith: We have faith that God is able to save, heal and deliver us from evil. meets us as we seek his will and aim to honour Him and his word.

  5. Righteousness: Jesus was pure, moral, godly, ethical, just and obedient and he is our example.

  6. Humility: We humble ourselves before Jesus, who took on the burdens and humility of serving The Father by making himself a sacrifice for us. We follow in his steps to humble ourselves by carrying the cross we are called to.

  7. Servanthood: We become a living sacrifice and a holy offering to God and live for his purposes while esteeming others as better than ourselves. We serve as Jesus would and honour others in serving their needs.

  8. Honour: We honour God by doing our best and honour each other by looking for the best in each other. We avoid complaints, gossip, subversiveness, and negativity about each other.

  9. Generosity: We are generous in our serving, giving, loving, praying for, encouraging and giving the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

  10. Diligence: We work hard, with professionalism, and desire to do well for Jesus well and those he died for.

  11. Community: We believe our communities should be places of encouragement, belonging, connection, healing, and growth and seek the best for others while serving Jesus.

  12. Connection: The body of Christ in the Cayman Islands is God’s plan to bring his love and truth to those around us. We are grateful for each other’s gifts callings and honour God’s work in each other and support his will for each other. We utilize what God has given us in our talents, identities, skills, education and strengths and weaknesses to bring more of God’s ways to those in need of genuine connection.

  13. Consciousness: We learn the issues and oppression hurting those we are called to love, to be able to engage them with empathy, love and hope, to be able to intercede for them and to being their advocates when they don't have the ability to speak for themselves
